JAHSoljahzJAHSoljahz is composed of 3 brothers Johnny Castillo a.k.a. "Johnny C.," Fernandy Castillo a.k.a. "Mr. Bajo," and Romel Castillo a.k.a. "Dj Militant." These 3 brothers were introduced to music at a very early age by Albert Tillet from the Youth Connection Band, and from there fell in love with music. Over the years they even had the privilege to meet the late Andy Palacio, and many more Belizean Artists who came from time to time to there rehearsals. In the early 90's they began DJ'ing all over their home town of Orange Walk in the secular dancehalls. While DJ'ing they were exposed to the wave of reggae rockers music coming from Jamaica, artist such as Papa San, Supa Cat, Ninja Man, and Bujo Banton who all had a major impact in shaping their musical style. In 1994 the Castillo family moved to the US, and in 2001 Fernandy Castillo a.k.a. Mr. Bajo came to know the Lord in a Baptist Church in North Chicago Illinois. In that same year right after the 911 attacks the Castillo family decided it was time to leave their Illinois home of 8 years, and head back to Belize. One year after arriving in Belize Johnny Castillo a.k.a. Johnny C. and Romel Castillo a.k.a. DJ Militant also came to know the Lord in a Christian Rock concert at the Orange Walk people stadium, 2 years after that, JAHSoljahz was formed and ever since they have been sharing the gospel of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
